Appliqué at Seabeck Bay Retreat
March 29 to April 2, 2010

Come join us at out fifth annual "Appliqué at Seabeck Bay” retreat. Our retreat is held in a cozy place called the Seabeck Conference Center in Seabeck, WA. The food is fantastic and the view of Puget Sound, with the Olympic Mountains in the background, is breathtaking. You will have four fun filled days of meeting new and old friend exchanging appliqué tricks and tips and of course a little quilt shopping.

  You will receive two full day classes with our fantastic teachers. Jeannie Austin, who is the designer of our TAS logo, will be teaching three-dimensional appliqué and Dawn Fox Cooper will be teaching a Baltimore block piece. We have scheduled visits to two local Quilt Shops and one-day to sit and stitch on your new projects before going home.

Those who need to travel by airplane will fly into the SeaTac Airport in Seattle, WA and take a shuttle to the retreat area where we will pick you up and deliver you to Seabeck Conference Center.

2010 Retreat
November 12th thru November 19th

Come to the beautiful, sunny state of Florida to celebrate The Applique Society 2010 Retreat.
The retreat will be held at DaySpring, Parrish, Florida.
Arrival date is November 12^th, 2010 and departure date is November 19^th, 2010.
Schedule of events: November 12^th - arrival after 2pm
                      November 13^th - chartered transportation to Feather Princesses quilt show in Tampa
                      November 14^th - Class with Nancy Chong
                      November 15 & 16th - Class with Mary Haunani Cesar
                      November 17^th - Quilt Shop Hop/ Evening Party
                      November 18^th - Outlet Mall shopping/Finale event
                      November 19^th - Departure by noon
$1000 per person includes: Accommodations, 3 meals per day (except lunch on Nov. 13^th),
class fees, and event transportation (not including airport shuttle or airfare).

 Day only commuters: $40 per person per class includes: Class fee and lunch

Airplane/airport shuttle is at each persons expense.
Local airports are Tampa International, St. Pete/Clearwater and Bradenton/Sarasota airport.
Shuttle service, round trip, information in Retreat packet.

It is important that you get your application and fees in ASAP
as this is a first come - first serve basis.
